TMP Tidbits

The School Board met this week and changed the last day of school from May 23rd to May 27th.

I have updated this information in the "dates to remember" section of this newsletter.

Friday, May 23rd AND Tuesday, May 27th are both early dismissal days. We dismiss at 12:10pm.

5th grade graduation will be on Thursday, May 22nd at 6pm. Please contact Mrs. Robison if you have questions.

Wednesday: We Love Our Hometown

All students will participate in service-learning field trips (like we did last year)! Your child must have a signed permission slip returned to attend the field trip.

Kindergarten-reading at Lenior Nursing Home.

1st grade-reading at VA Hospital

2nd grade-reading at Next Step Day Program.

3rd grade (Mueller)-reading at Rusk Rehab

3rd grade (Pierce)-reading at CELN

4th grade-reading at Tigerside Preschool/Neighborhood

5th grade-reading at Westbury Senior Living

After these field trips, students will eat lunch with classmates at one of three local parks (based on proximity to their service learning locations).

Arrival ~11:00am. Departure ~12:00pm

Bus 1 (3rd grade) will have lunch at Cosmo Park.

Bus 2 (1st and 5th) will have lunch at Stephen's Park.

Bus 3 (K, 2nd, and 4th) will have lunch at American Legion Park.

Your child will need to bring a lunch from home or take a cold lunch from school.

Parents are welcome to meet their child at the park for lunch but cannot attend the service learning field trips.

We are SO excited for our annual reading week! This year our theme is There's No Place Like Home.

Join us for our family potluck dinner on Thursday, March 20th from 5:30-6:30pm. If you are able to bring a potluck item, please sign up on the sign up link. All are welcome!

May 2nd: Picnic on the Prairie OUR BIG FUNDRAISER and our most fun event!

May 12-16th: Ag Week

May 22nd: Field Day

May 22nd: 5th Grade Graduation (Location: Lange Middle School) 6pm

May 23rd: Early dismissal (12:10)

May 26th: No School-Memorial Day

May 27th: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL Dismiss at 12:10!!!
