Your continued support makes events like this possible, and we are so grateful to our community. Bring your family, friends, and picnic blankets, and get ready for an unforgettable evening celebrating Town Center! We are still looking for a few more parents to help sell tickets during lunches. You will need to make sure you have your background check completed. Click here to volunteer! We can’t wait to see you there! Please reach out with any questions!
Thank you,
Amanda Nevels
Town Center PTO President
Zoo Crew Truck
The "Zoo Crew Truck" will be at our 30 Year Celebration Picnic. In addition to the evening event, they will also stop by our school earlier in the day for any children with online orders. They will get a chance to make their animal and avoid any lines at the picnic. Order forms were sent home with learners this week.
Library Volunteers - A Note from Mrs. Mancuso
THANK YOU to everyone who helped at our spring book fair! We couldn’t have done it without you. Congratulations to Kevin Krone and Shayne Jones who were the winners of our parent volunteer raffle.
We still have a few library needs this spring. Please view this signup to help with our library inventory that begins right after spring break. We are looking forward to some exciting library updates this summer!
REMINDERS
We'd love to see all of our TCE Texans each day at school!
We are excited to have so many of our learners that have been out sick back at school. We'd love to meet our campus attendance goal of 97%, and we will keep you all updated weekly on our progress. As a reminder, if your child is sick, we want them to stay home and rest. Our district attendance policy states, "Students must be free of fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea for 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school.” Otherwise, we'd love to have them at school in order to maximize their instructional time with teachers and make the most of their school days. If your child does need to miss school due to being sick, please reach out to your child's teacher to find out what work they need to make up.

Town Center Parent Resources - A Note From Ms. Matlock
Town Center's Family Social Emotional Literacy Library
Town Center has an exciting resource for families! We now have an entire resource library focused on Social and Emotional skill development. Themes are divided into 5 categories: Understanding Myself, Managing Myself, Respecting Others, Building Relationships, and Making Decisions.
View the titles here: TCE's Family Literacy Library Titles. Then, select the topic that interests you and complete this form to Request a Family Book Bag. Corresponding conversation starters to help facilitate discussions at home will also be included in the book bag. Books and discussion questions may be kept for two weeks and then returned to Kelly Matlock, TCE's counselor. Please email kmatlock@coppellisd.com with any questions.
Free & Reduced Meal Eligibility
In order to qualify for Free & Reduced Meals, families are required to complete an application each year to determine their eligibility. CISD is encouraging our eligible families to complete an application online at www.nlappscloud.com.
Parents, guardians or students can add funds to their accounts in person at the school cafeteria via cash or check, or for a small fee, they can use the "My School Bucks" app to deposit funds with a debit or credit card. Visit www.coppellisd.com/childnutrition for more information about school breakfasts and lunches or to create or add funds to your child’s school lunch account.
Background Checks
We ask that all families complete a volunteer background check at the start of the year. They do not carry over from year to year. Since the background checks take time to process, we ask that everyone completes one in case any type of volunteering opportunity (class field trip, Dads and Dudes Club, Room parent, class volunteer, field day, etc.) arises during the year that you are interested in. Please click on the link below to complete.
