We are fast approaching the end of the year. Please encourage your students to continue to work through their assignments, keep the focus and keep finishing their school work. There are many events coming up including Field Day, Academic Awards Day, Spring Concert, Art Show, Yearbook Chapel and more! You can keep up to date on the calendar online at www.bas4u.org.

SPRING PICTURES & GRADUATION PICTURES
This Thursday! April 24th, will be Spring Pictures. Please make sure you have your student dress in the spring outfit of your choosing (following our school dress code). They may wear the outfit for the day or change to a uniform following the pictures. You may also have your siblings take a group photo if you'd like, please email the office by Wednesday to get on the list. Graduates will take cap & gown photos as well, please make sure your graduate has a shirt on that works with a graduation gown. (possible examples: Boys - collared white dress shirt, Girls - dress shirt)
This is a new photographer (Kiarah Portraits) so we hope the pictures will be back by graduation but we won't know until after. If you have any questions, please mail suess@bas4u.org or call the office.
BAS Field Day - April 25!
On Friday, April 25, 2025 is Field Day at BAS! We have a bunch of fun activities planned for the day and we hope you encourage your child(ren) to participate in the planned events with a great attitude! This will be counted as a school day and attendance will be taken. If your child cannot be at Field Day please let Mrs. Suess know ASAP so we can adjust the teams accordingly (we want to try and keep them as even as possible)! Half of the activities will be held outside and the other half in our gymnasium.
Field Day will be a Β½ day event, starting in the morning with individual activities ending with team challenges. The individual events are: broad jump, 40 yard dash, chicken throw, vertical jump, and the obstacle course. The team events are: 3-legged race, obstacle course, shuttle run, and the sponge race. Please be aware that your child may get wet due to activities planned so please plan accordingly! The students are assigned to a team and need to wear their teamβs color of t-shirt! This will help us distinguish between the teams. Also, please make sure your child(ren) is(are) dressed in Physical Education type clothes and shoes! If your child(ren) needs sunscreen please send some to school along with a water bottle! And since they might get a little wet by the end of the day, feel free to send a change of clothes!
We will have regular classes beginning at 11:30 and ending our normal time at 3:00 on Fridays. Check your email for the list of your student's shirt color.
