FFVP October 2024
Time of Transition
October is often the time where the last of the late summer produce is available before fall weather set in. The beginning of the month can be quite warm, while the end of the month can bring chilly wet nights.
Tomatoes are a plant that can keep producing fruit until those first frosty evenings. In Oregon this means locally grown tomatoes can be found in October in mild years!
