2025 Theme: "Greater Works!"
JANUARY 5-11, 2025 VOLUMN 1-1
PRAYER FOCUS
January Focus: Lord, I pray that I delight in you because it plays a major role in determining my destiny this year according to Psalm 1:1-3. I pray that you will help me not keep company with those who mock what is good, who indulge their every craving or who live their lives in opposition to God’s goodness. Such company will keep me far from God and God’s blessings. I pray that I will delight in God’s teachings and keep them on my mind this year so that I will have firm roots that offer stability and a secure place to face the highs and lows of life as they unfold in the coming year. Lord, help me to see the wisdom of delighting in your word at the beginning and end of each day throughout this year.
LEADERS OF ONE CHURCH COVENANT FELLOWSHIP
Meet Our Leadership!
We are blessed to have our Sr. Pastor, Dr. Ron & 1st Lady Faye Godbolt and our Bishop,
Dr. John L. Godbolt and Elect Lady Vertell Godbolt, leading us through the Christian journey!
CROSSOVER RECAP
The Crossover service was nothing short of blessings on top of blessings. The atmosphere was set during prayer time. Then the praise team took us higher in the spirit of the Lord. Once the fallow ground was prepared, Bishop Godbolt taught a powerful lesson to encourage us to do "Greater Works in 2025". He did several demonstrations during the lesson to bring his point home. We had 65 new members to join the church in 2024 and we acknowledged many of them that were present. Finally, one young lady accepted the Lord as her personal Savior. We rejoiced with her as Heaven did! At midnight, we celebrated with the first praise of the new year. You can see highlights from the video and pictures below.
GREATER WORKS 2025 - THE WORK OF OVERCOMERS
Our Bishop, Dr. J.L. Godbolt, preached the last sermon of 2024. It was a powerful sermon entitled "Greater Works 2025." This year is designated as the "Work of Overcomers"
His scripture references were: John 14:12-14, Ephesians 2:10, Matthew 7:21-23 and Matthew 6:10.
His lesson objectives were:
- Define it!
- Share an illustration of it!
- Give an example about it!
- Challenge the learner with it!
You can view the entire lesson below.

GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IN ACTION
The Lord moved in a mighty way during the Crossover Service. As Sophia Pearson and Alex Butler came to the altar, God used Bishop J.L. Godbolt to pray for both both young ladies and lead Sophia into The Kingdom of God. They experienced God's love through Bishop Godbolt's embrace as a loving father and support from the saints. Let's continue to pray for these young ladies.

DELIVERANCE WAS IN THE ROOM!
God used Sis. Crystal Godbolt to minister to a young man during the service. The young man was blessed as the prayer warriors came together to pray for him. Let's keep him in prayer that he will continue to allow the Lord to make Himself real to him and that he would grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
SOULS GIVING THEIR LIVES TO THE LORD
The heavens are rejoicing over all these souls coming to the Lord. Let's continue to pray for their strength and guidance.

OPPORTUNITY TO SPONSOR STUDENTS
IN KISUMU, KENYA!
Greetings Beloved Family and Friends!
I am pleased to offer each of you a clear opportunity to support the education of 100 Kindergarten - 8th grade students in the Kisumu, Kenya area.
Let's give the gift of education this Christmas! Classes for students in Kenya start on January 6th, 2025, so your gift is needed right away!
My family had the pleasure of visiting the Kisumu/Dago Market, Kenya area in June of 2024 and this trip has shaped our life purpose tremendously! We have been called to help the children in this area to achieve their education! We know that education is the key to growth, success and prosperity. While education in Kenya is public, it is not free. Each child's family must pay a fee in order for that child to attend school. Children whose families cannot pay, stay home. As the economy suffers and families struggle more each day to make ends meet, we learned that one of their top concerns (after food and shelter) is educating their children. These kids actually want to go to school! They just need financial help to do so consistently. We can help them to meet that need!
Will you join us in answering this call to invest in the future of the youth in Kisumu, Kenya?
* For just $15 you can cover one elementary school student for a 3-month term.
* For $33, you can cover one 7th or 8th grade student for a 3-month term.
* We need to generate $1,356 in order to fund all 100 students for the January Semester.
You can send your funds to me via CashApp ($SonnyKelly) or Zelle (Use my cell phone number of (210)793-5241) and I will send your funds to our point of contact in Kenya (Bishop Zephaniah Osok of Jesus Christ Worship Center, a ministry of New Millennium Ministries in Dunn, NC). You will receive a letter of thanks and receipt for your donation from New Millenium Ministries. Yes! This is a tax deductible donation.
Please contact me when you are ready to sponsor and I will assign you a student to sponsor. You may also sponsor anonymously if you choose.
*See a picture above of some of these beautiful and brilliant children!
Please help us to get the word out by sharing this opportunity with anyone that you think would be interested in sponsoring a child's education!
