Hey SIS Families!

March has arrived and we are so excited for all the things to come yet this school year!

With the warmer weather, we are excited to bring on spring break and then welcome students back post spring break for the final leg of learning. As we return from spring break, we will be preparing to take our ISASP, statewide testing, tests. For your reference, here is the testing schedule. All Tests will begin at 9:45 am on the given days and run for roughly 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.

4th Grade Schedule:

• Apr. 1: Reading
• Apr. 3: Language & Writing
• Apr. 9: Math

5th Grade Schedule:

• Apr. 2: Reading
• Apr. 4: Science
• Apr. 7: Language & Writing
• Apr. 10: Math

We would like to provide all students with a morning snack prior to ISASP testing. Please consider signing up to donate items to be brought to the school by Friday, Mar. 22, 2024. We appreciate your support!

We'd like to take this time to thank our awesome PTO and our SIS families for the delicious conference meals! We appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Spartan Dash is Saturday, April 26th! It is guaranteed to be fun, messy and a great way to spend a Saturday morning with your friends, family raising money for your favorite schools!

Reminder! Spartan dash registration will close Friday, March 28th! Register your family at: https://spartan-dash-2025.cheddarup.com and fill out the waiver online.

What is Spartan Dash? Spartan Dash is a 1-mile fun walk/run around the SRNA trail where you will go through up to 10 fun obstacles along the way - guaranteed to make you laugh and have a good time, and maybe get a little dirty!

Have another event that day? No worries, let us know and you can sign up to go at one of the "open heat" times just for that purpose!

Spartan Dash is the PTO's largest fundraiser of the year - Money raised through this event funds things throughout the year like teacher discretionary funds (unfunded things like supplies, teaching aides to support learning), classroom programs, technology subscriptions, and field trips!

We hope you'll join us on the 27th for this year's event!

Registration is now open for Spartan Band Camp! This camp serves as a fundraiser for SIS/SMS bands and is a great way to keep your student engaged with music over the summer. Click Here To Sign Up!
