NASA, Here He Comes
The NASA High School Aerospace Scholars (HAS) program is an exciting educational initiative designed to inspire and engage high school students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through the lens of aerospace exploration. San Marcos High School's very own, Constantine Reyes, 11th, has been accepted into this program!
Participants have the opportunity to work on hands-on projects, collaborate with peers, and interact with NASA engineers and scientists. The program begins with an online learning experience, where students explore various aerospace topics, followed by an immersive experience at a NASA center, where they can apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. By fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, the HAS program not only enhances students' understanding of aerospace concepts but also encourages them to consider future careers in STEM fields, empowering the next generation of innovators and explorers.
