Debate Competition
The Rowland High School Debate Team took first place in their first debate competition of the
2024-2025 school year. Celena Poon, Sabrina Su, and Jesse Zhou went undefeated in all four
rounds. Jesse earned the gavel as the top speaker out of the schools that competed. Selena,
Sabrina and Leah Tsoi also brought home trophies for individual speaking scores. The RHS
Debate club is completely student-run. They coach, practice, organize their teams, and enter
their competitions with the Orange County Debate League on their own. Congratulations!!
