Kudos
Congratulations to Kylie Taylor (Swim Team) who took down a 15 year old school record in the 200 IM last Friday. The original record was 2:21.13 set by Andria Breeden in 2004 and was beat with a 2:20.54 on Friday. Lancers were victorious over Willamette Wolverines in their meet Friday! Excellent work Churchill Swimming!
Misael Flores - Thank you for your focus while Casandra and I were away this last week. You held down the fort (so to speak) and handled issues and concerns with grace and poise. I appreciate your professionalism and your positive attitude towards your work.
Casandra Kamens - Thank you for the time you put into developing advisory lessons. You work hard to meet the needs of both teachers and students. You take your time to make sure the lessons are fool proof and a meaningful use of time. Thank you so much for the though, time, and level of excellence you bring to our staff and school. You are very appreciated.
From Mike Sterling to Debbie Levy and Tiffany Wright - I assigned a reading from the American Studies text as homework for my 10th graders yesterday - then I realized we hadn't checked out the texts yet...During my 4th period prep I asked Tiffany if my 60 or so students could get texts this morning (periods 1 and 3). It's not really fair or nice to put that request to the library staff at the last minute, but, of course, all of the books were ready by 8:30 this morning.
