Students and families may view/access class schedules for '24-'25 beginning at 3pm Tuesday, August 13th. Schedules reflect courses required and requested by families during the course selection process this spring. Schedules cannot be changed, except as outlined in the Parent/Student handbook.

NRHS School day is 8:20am-3:12pm.

• Students can enter the building starting at 7:40am, but they must stay in the cafeteria until 1st period begins.
• All students should leave the building by 3:20pm, with the exception of those that have planned extracurriculars after school.

Please review the student handbook regarding student attendance linked HERE. Pages 29-32 specifically highlight absence information and provide a comprehensive list of absence reasons that are acceptable for reporting. Students who are called off for a vacation during the school year WILL NOT be excused. Vacations are not excused absences.

New this year is the ability to text our attendance line if your child is going to be absent. If you text our absence line to report an absence, you must include the child's name and grade level, the parent/contact name and the reason for the absence. If the parent/contact name doesn't match the student's contact information in Powerschool or the absence reason doesn't match our handbook, the absence will not be excused. If you have questions about this feature, please reach out to our office secretaries.

Juniors and Seniors can apply for privileges with this form.

**In order for your privileges to appear on your schedule by the first day of school, this form MUST be submitted by Friday 8/16.**

PLEASE READ THE GUIDELINES CLOSELY! It will take several school days for the change to appear on your schedule. YOU CANNOT leave the school for privileges until your schedule has been changed.

You will NOT be approved for privileges unless you have a VALID 24-25 NRHS parking pass. These passes can be purchased in the HS main office M-F from 8:30-3pm. Parking passes are $20.

Seniors that submitted designs to paint a parking space are invited to paint their spot on Sunday 8/18 from 10am-2pm.

If you have any questions about your design approval, reach out to your principal.

Senior parents are encouraged to bring signs for their senior to put in the front of the high school for the 1st day of school. This will be done the night before on Wednesday, August 21st from 6:30 to 8:00. Contact Bonnie Taucher (btaucher4@gmail.com) for more information..

Yes, we do have a Handbook (web page) and teachers may have some specific classroom rules, based on he needs of the class, but the following image captures what we expect from our Rangers every day. Pretty simple, really.

"G-BED" is a phrase you hear daily at NRHS. It's a code that our Rangers (everyone in Ranger Nation) - pursue (or should). Getting Better Every Day is something that is expected in every person, every family, community, country, and our world, to make life better. Reminding one another regularly helps us remember our purpose here at NRHS. G-BED, Rangers!
