Message from the Principal
Wildcat Families,
Today we had a great day with our annual Jogathon, starting the morning with a spirit assembly and then taking some time to run the track together as a community. A huge thank you to all of you for your support, both financially in support of our fundraiser, but also in spirit for showing up and cheering our students on. It was a great day to be a Wildcat!
Please ask your students about how they can earn our Golden Awards and our Student of the Month awards. We shared about both in our assembly today. Our Golden Awards recognize classes showing safe behavior throughout our school by walking in line, using PAX hands and feet and by remaining with and in class unless granted permission to leave. Our Students of the Month are those that demonstrate kindness throughout the month of October as recognized by classroom teachers.
Finally, please make sure that you’ve worked with your child’s teacher to sign up for a Family Partnership Meeting on the evening of October 23 or throughout the day and evening on October 24. These are great opportunities for collaboration to set goals and plan together for your child(ren).
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Tim, Principal
Atentamente,
Tim, Director

Everyone is having a wonderful time at the Jog-a-thon today! Thanks to your incredible support, we've already raised over $20,000, and donations keep pouring in! Help us achieve our goal of $25,000. The PSO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, meaning your contributions are tax-deductible. These funds will aid in supporting field trips, library books, staff appreciation, family events, and so much more. The top three classes that raise the highest amount by November 15th will enjoy a special class celebration. Donations will still be accepted after the event throughout the entire school year. Thank you for your continued support of CFT!

Your feeder schools are excited to invite you to our Hispanic Heritage Celebration in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15, 2024. The celebration will be held at Fowler Middle School on October 16, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM, we're aiming to make this year’s event even more memorable than the last!
Last year’s celebration was filled with incredible dishes shared by our families and generous contributions from local Tigard businesses. It was a true community effort, with collaboration from CFT, MWW, MET, FMS and THS, We're hoping to build on that success this year. We would love to see more families share a dish from their culture, though it’s completely optional.
As we continue to organize this event, we’re welcoming the support of parents and local businesses. Your participation—whether it’s through contributing a dish, donating, or simply attending—will help make this celebration a wonderful reflection of our diverse community.
Thank you in advance for being part of this special event. Your feeder schools can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
