Principal's Corner
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, I am overwhelmed with pride for the amazing community we have here at PCA. Your dedication and support have made this year truly remarkable!
I am thrilled to announce that state testing is nearly complete, and thanks to your patience and cooperation, it has been a resounding success! Achieving a 95% participation rate among our 3rd to 5th graders is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire school community. I want to extend a special thank you to our elementary students for their grace and understanding as our teachers traveled across the state to conduct these assessments in person.
As we look forward to the remaining weeks of the school year, let's keep the momentum going strong! Please keep this newsletter handy as we have plenty of important dates and exciting events lined up.
If you haven't completed the form to let us know you are coming back next year, please make sure you do so below.

Grade Level Happenings
Kindergarten -
As we approach the end of another wonderful school year, continue to work on your lessons, come to LiveLesson, and finish strong with attendance in Air Tutoring. We have a few more assessments to complete during Check In so come during your scheduled time or make arrangements with your homeroom teacher if needed. Take time to reflect, celebrate, and look forward to new beginnings. Be on the lookout for information on our upcoming Kindergarten celebration. Our kindergartners have blossomed in so many ways, demonstrating growth, resilience, and an eagerness to learn that fills our hearts with pride.Thank you for entrusting us with your precious ones this year. It's been an honor and a joy to be a part of their growth and development. We wish you all a wonderful summer filled with laughter, exploration, and cherished moments with your loved ones.

Thank you first grade for completing your end of year Dibels and Star assessments, we will be reaching out to you soon to schedule your end of year Istation assessments! We have heard great things about Air Tutors, please continue to join and take advantage of this amazing opportunity. We know it can be hard as we get to the end of the year but keep pushing and try your best to complete all your lessons to ensure a successful transition to 2nd grade!
2nd -
Second graders, you are doing amazing! Let’s finish the year strong. Make sure that you are attending Air Tutoring, four days per week. This is an amazing opportunity, and you don’t want to miss out! If you have not already done so, please complete your intent to return. We are getting several new students and want to ensure that our returning families have their spots secured for next year. It only takes a moment. You also have the option to sign up for summer programs if you would like. We HIGHLY recommend the Summer Reading Program! The leap from 2nd grade to 3rd grade is a big one! They are transitioning from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." The reading program will give them the extra boost they need to set them up for success! Please keep in mind that the end of the school year is quickly approaching. Make sure that you are staying caught up on your daily lessons. Temporary zeros will be entered weekly moving forward. Please reach out if you need help getting caught up on overdue lessons. Istation assessments begin next week so keep an eye out for that schedule. We have had an amazing year; Thank you all for your hard work!

4th grade has done an outstanding job of showing up and finishing all of the end of the year testing. They’ve also been working hard during their Air Tutor Sessions! We’re almost at the finish line. Keep up with your work in your planners and ask for resets if you need them. The last day to submit lessons will be Tuesday, May 21 at 3:00 PM. All classes will close and any unfinished work or temporary zeros will be permanent at that time. It’s hard to believe the year is almost over. 4th grade has had a wonderful year!
