What we will be learning this week

Families and friends go places and do things together.

Letters- Mm

Colors- Green - review: red, blue, and yellow

Shapes- Review Circle, Oval and square (round/not round)

Writing - introduce touch, pull down - review: strokes up and down

Math- smaller/bigger, concept of part/whole.

Numbers- 1, 2, 3

Reading - answering yes/no questions and sequencing stories

Big Kahuna Fundraiser

This is the last week for BIG KAHUNA! Brochure order forms are due back to school on Sept. 26. Please send all forms/money as soon as you can.

Extra pair of clothes

Please make sure your child has an extra pair of clothes in their backpack for emergencies. Sometimes we don't make it down to the bathroom in time or we spill our lunch on ourselves. Having an extra pair of shorts/pants and underwear in a baggie will keep us from having to call you in the middle of class. We can just change and clean up and get back to learning.

Reading every day/night

Reading each day/night to your child is so important. Click on the picture to see just how it will help your child and their success in learning. Bonus: It is great one on one quality time with your child.

Dress Code

Colors for caring

On the first Wednesday of each month, you may wear a color shirt that helps support a cause that is special to you. You can click on the picture to see colors and what cause the represent.
