Greetings KM Families,
As the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support, dedication, and collaboration. This year has been filled with growth, and achievements, and none of it would have been possible without the commitment of our dedicated teachers, staff, students, and families. Thank you for your continuous partnership in making our school a place of learning and joy for our students. Wishing you all a restful and joyous summer break. We will see everyone back in August.
Warm regards,
Carmen Moeller, Danielle Atkins, and the Kellogg Marsh Staff

Join Real Dawgs Read!
The University of Washington's Real Dawgs Read summer reading program helps students prepare for higher education by motivating daily reading. The program is of no cost or obligation to you, your staff or participating students. It is simply an effort to incentivize K-8 students in Washington state to read during the summer.
They have made a few changes to the program this year:
- We are printing journals.
- Any Washington state K-8 student can participate in Real Dawgs Read online.
- Students may start logging their reading as soon as they have their journal. They don't need to wait for summer break.
Students track at least 20 minutes of daily reading on 30 separate days in a journal. Once completed, the journal is returned to the University of Washington for redemption of a Husky beanie, baseball hat or cinch backpack and a certificate of completion.
