CONGRATULATIONS NBMS TSA TEAM!!
TSA State Conference
11 students from the New Bridge Middle School Chapter attended the NCTSA 46th Annual State Conference along with over 2000 other students from 65 different chapters. They competed in 14 different events representing technology and engineering that require problem solving, teamwork, leadership, and effective communication. All 11 students placed in the top ten with two teams placing 3rd place! They were Forensic Science Team 2: Katie Angulo and Whitney Brown and Structural Engineering Team 1: Gabriel Eden and Seiken Guerrero. Other top 10 places were Forensic Science Team 1: Chloe Dean and Abby Williams, Forensic Science Team 3: Matthew Martinez and Koldan McEuen, Promotional Marketing: Abby Williams, Promotional Marketing: Whitney Brown, Video Game Design Team 1: Sylas Lichtenstein and Nitrel Smith, Video Game Design Team 2: Derrick Bechtel and Matthew Martinez, and Website Design Team 1: Whitney Brown, Chloe Dean, and Abby Williams. Exact results will be released later in the week. Mrs. Lewis is elated with the results and all of the hard work that this group has put into making this conference attendance a success!

The Science House - STEM Opportunity for EC Students
Catalyst
A free international, national and local award winning high school program designed to create STEM opportunities for students with disabilities.
The primary goal of the Catalyst program is to provide students with the skills, knowledge and experiences they need to help build the STEM workforce of the future.
Catalyst provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with STEM education through free weeklong institutes in the summer and Saturday sessions throughout the school year. Students participate in paid STEM internships, field study trips, professional STEM certifications and much more.

We are pleased to announce a partnership Between NBMS and The Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern NC!
You are NOW invited to enroll your student in afterschool care at NBMS for the 2024-2025 school year. Please follow the link below.
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 2:40pm - 6:30pm.
Monthly Cost: Approximately $75. this includes a snack each day
Registration Fee: $25
Program Overview:
*Serves NBMS students grades 6-8.
*A variety of programs - Arts, Healthy Habits, Smart Moves, Money Matters, STEM, Boys and Girls Clubs of America programs
*Power Hour Daily - During this time, all students will work on homework, projects etc.

HOW TO Purchase tickets for NBMS Games
Game Day Tickets may be purchased two ways:
Tickets are $5 per person. Children 5 yrs and under are free.
1. Tickets may be purchased at the gate.
2. Tickets may be purchased on-line at:

Admission to NBMS games is $5.00. Please be prepared to show your receipt at the gate by either printed copy or on an electronic device. If purchasing more than one ticket in transaction all parties must be present for accountability.
If the game is cancelled before it begins, a full refund will be processed back to the credit card used for the purchase. If the game is rescheduled to a new date, you MUST purchase a new ticket reflecting the new date.
