Important Information Regarding Graduation and EOC Results
I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share some important information regarding the Spring 2025 EOC preliminary results, which are expected to be released to Texas school districts on May 23rd.
Please note that this release date falls after the High School of Choice (HSOC) graduation ceremony on May 21st.
It is important to understand that participating in the graduation ceremony does not confirm graduation status. Once EOC results are received, you can expect to receive one of the following communications from HSOC after May 27th:
-
An email indicating that your diploma is ready for pick-up, confirming that you have passed your required EOCs and have officially graduated.
A phone call requesting an Individual Graduation Committee (IGC) meeting, which means one or more EOC exams were not passed and graduation requirements have not yet been met.
We appreciate your attention to this information and your continued partnership as we navigate this final step in the graduation process.

Graduation Ticket Information
Graduation Ticket Information
Yes, there will be a limit on the number of guests each student may invite. However, there is no cost for graduation tickets. All graduating seniors are required to attend Graduation Practice on the morning of the ceremony at 10:00 a.m.. Upon completion of practice, students will receive their allotted tickets. At this time, we anticipate distributing five to six tickets per student. Please note that the graduating student will not need a ticket to attend the ceremony.
We highly encourage you to regularly visit our graduation information webpage, which is updated weekly and includes comprehensive details:
🔗 WISD Graduation Information
We are currently exploring options for potential overflow seating & a Online Steaming Option though nothing has been confirmed yet.
Additionally, we are waiting to finalize the number of students who will officially be participating in the ceremony. Once we have that confirmed, there is a possibility that the ticket allotment per student may increase.
We are also considering other options that could potentially allow for additional guest seating. Our approach is to remain cautious and realistic—it is far better to promise fewer tickets now and increase that number later, rather than overpromise and risk needing to reduce availability.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we finalize these details.
