This has been an absolutely great first week of school! I love having students in the classrooms again at Everton. Meeting our new students has been a joy! I have also spent time with our returning students, and hearing about how they spent their summer. We have some really terrific students here at Everton.

I also want to share that we have a top notch group of adults here at Everton who have been working diligently to make sure our students have everything they need to make learning successful. There is so much that goes into educating children. Let's remember that educating our students takes all of us working together. I encourage parents to maintain open communication with their child's teacher. We all have the same goal. We want children to be successful.

Please remember that Monday, August 12th is an early release day for students at Everton. Students will be dismissed at 1:30. Creative Steps after school care is available, but you must arrange this with them in advance. Should you need this service, you can reach Creative Steps at 937-469-7785. Please remember that elementary schools have one early release day each month.
