Happy last week of first quarter! First quarter ends next Friday, October 25th, which means we are halfway to the end of first semester. Students, if your grades are not where you want them to be, make sure you are utilizing your time during Ac Lab and our after school tutoring program to get additional help in problematic classes. A high grade point average is your ticket to college and other post-secondary learning institutions. Here is a snapshot from the past two weeks at Fox High.

Senior Sunrise-Senior Sunrise is one of the first of several activities we do to help our seniors have some time to bond together as a cohort. I love this event. It's all about the sun coming up and forever friendships.

Junior Warriorettes-Our Junior Warriorettes performed before our football game last Friday. I always love watching their performance.

Connor Blase Marine Corps Induction-Also before last Friday's football, one of our outstanding seniors, Connor Blase was formally inducted into the United States Marine Corps. We are so proud of you, Connor.

Talent Show-Well, another year, and another Talent Show chalked full of incredible performers. Congratulations to Abigail Bruns (12th) for taking home the first place prize. Morgan Heigel (11th) took second and "The Plastics" staring McKenna Walton (10th), Dani Klein (10th), Riley Jones (10th), Alec Nunn (12th), Sose Fili (9th), and Gabriel Ostrander (10th) placed third. Great job to all participants.

Cybersecurity Career Day Field Trip-Mrs. Neal's Cybersecurity class took a field trip for Cybersecurity Career Day where they participated in a competition of Capture the Flag, solving cybersecurity issues at Centene Corp. It sounds like it was an excellent learning opportunity for these future cyber security solvers.
