We will be on a 50-minute Homeroom Schedule on Monday – Thursday the next week. We will be on a regular bell schedule on Friday, August 9th. Your student will be participating in Class Meetings Monday – Thursday, the 2nd week of school. A copy of the power point will be shared with Parents via Parent Square.

As described in the many communications from Mr. Miller as well as the Board Briefs sent by Barbara Jacoby, among the changes to the Code of Conduct are consistent standards for appropriate student attire and appropriate student use of cell phones and other personal digital smart devices in schools, classrooms, and on the school bus. More specifics were shared in that communication which is available here, It may also be found here in 2024-2025 Student Code of Conduct or here - Handbook.

We have a designated attendance email for any attendance notes and early check-out requests: rrhs.attendance@cherokeek12.net. Please use this email instead of emailing Mrs. Mondello or anyone else directly to ensure timely processing of notes. Sending notes through Canvas or Parent Square will delay the process.

Within the LINQ Connect portal you can fund your student’s meal payments by adding one-time or recurring funds, review purchases made, and monitor the current balances, transfer dollars between students, and apply for free and reduced meal benefits. Do you play an instrument? Traveling Symphony might be the club for you. Traveling Symphony is a club that allows students to practice and play with all different instruments, play good music voted on by the members, get additional concert experience, & build a community in the fine arts programs. Remember, you don't have to currently be in a school music class to join. Any instrument is welcome! There will be an interest meeting on August 28th at 7:45 in the orchestra room. We hope to see you there!

Interested in joining the River Ridge Cross Country team? Not only will you be a part of a great team of athletes, but you will also get in shape for your Winter or Spring sport! The first day of practice is Thursday, August 1st! You need a current Physical in RankOne, as well a good pair of running shoes to participate. Check out Fleet Feet in Canton to get fitted for shoes this Saturday, July 27th from 9am-12pm. Let them know you are with River Ridge!

Lost and Found can be located in room 1201. Did you know that our special education department picks up the items through out the school? They wash the clothes and the cups every Friday to have them ready to be claimed😊. Items not claimed will be donated.

Please review the medication policy in student parent handbook. Medication must be in ORIGINAL container, current prescription with student name legible. OTC meds must be new/sealed and NOT EXPIRED! Please fill out appropriate medication forms ONE sheet per medication.
