A June of Gratitude
CTC Newsletter
Our educational community is vast. It includes folks from all walks of life, various political affiliations, diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. What connects each of us is that we all genuinely care about kids. No matter where we are in the world, when we come together to create a culture of connection, our ripple effect is profound. It brings our vast community together.
Here at CTC, we are dedicated to growing that connection. We believe that every single student deserves to know they are loved and cared for. We are on a mission to provide educators with the tools and strategies they need to create a culture of connection in their school communities. The CTC behavioral approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and founded in care. It empowers educators to navigate behavioral conversations with increased confidence and competence. When you infuse these strategies into your daily interactions, you become a Connected Communicator and kids thrive!
We would like to end this school year with thank you. Thank you for being the incredible educator you are. Thank you for showing up for kids every day. Thank you for looking for ways to strengthen and grow your ability to connect with students. Thank you for being a part of the Connected Communicator movement. Together, we are making the world a better and more connected place, one connected conversation at a time.

Event Spotlight
YMCA Youth Services Training
We were honored to spend the day with the YMCA! The dedicated educators who run after school care programs, day camps, and teach life skills through athletics are critical to our young people's success. We loved our time connecting with them! Some of the new Connected Communicators shared, “Your energy and words stick with me," "It was interactive, exciting and engaging," "Just good advice and it kind of humbled me." We had such a blast and we are thrilled that the youth leaders will be spreading the Connected Communicator Movement.
If you are looking for ways to engage and encourage adults who talk with kids, we have you covered! Erika and Tiffany offer a series of trainings and keynote addresses full of helpful tools and back-pocket strategies delivered with a good dose of humor designed specifically for educators who serve in after school programs, youth camps, and coaches.
Reach out to us to schedule today at hello@connectingthroughconversation.com!

Their foundation in connection and relationship is evident in the words of their book, Connecting Through Conversations, as well as in their presentations. They bring a wealth of knowledge which impacts student culture and learning.”
