• The Family Access Portal (portal.pisd.edu) is now open for annual updates. Students can learn who their teacher is for this year beginning August 5 in the Family Access Portal (once all required documents are completed).

Tuesday, August 13th

• First Day of School! The doors open at 7:00 am. The school day officially begins at 7:40, and all students should be settled in class at this time.
• Parents are welcome to walk their children to class on the first day of school.

Back-to-Bethany Grade Level Meetings

• Kindergarten August 7th -- 5:30 pm - Gym (note that this is the Wednesday before school begins)
• First Grade -- August 15th -- 6:30 pm - Gym
• Second Grade -- August 22nd -- 6:00 pm - Library
• Third Grade -- August 20th -- 6:00 pm - Library
• Fourth Grade -- August 15th -- 6:00 pm - Library
• Fifth Grade -- August 20th -- 6:30 pm - Gym

Students may be dropped of in either the front drive or the east drive. Please see the map below for more information.

Great news! Volunteering is back! Volunteer applications are required every year. Here is information on the Plano ISD page that explains the volunteer process. You can complete your volunteer application right now at plano.voly.org.

We are excited to see you this year during lunch time! Here are a few things to keep in mind during your visit:

• Please bring a picture ID and arrive several minutes early to check in at the front office and receive your visitor badge. This badge will need to be worn for the entirety of your visit.
• We will let your child know that you are here and he or she will meet you for lunch in the PTA room.
• You may bring food for your child from outside establishments; however, please refrain from sharing food with children other than your own.
• When lunch is over, your child will return to the cafeteria with his/her grade level. Once your child has left the PTA Room, please return to the office, turn in your badge, sign out, and leave through the front door.
• We encourage you to reserve parent lunch visits for special occasions in order to allow your child plenty of time to socialize with friends.
