Dear Parents and Guardians of Lincoln High School,

We are excited to introduce the Lincoln High School Center for Newcomer families, a dedicated space for newly arrived students and their families to get acquainted with our district’s resources, programs, and opportunities. The center is designed to be a welcoming environment where families can share their cultures, backgrounds, and goals, ensuring that every student feels valued and prepared to succeed in school.

The services provided include:

• School Introduction

• Getting to Know You Interview

• Language Assessments

• Mental Health Support

• Assistance with Basic Needs and Housing

• Links to Community Services

We will be on Lincoln High School campus every Thursday. Students and families can make appointments by visiting our website at sdusdmed.org/newcomer-support. Translation services are available if an appointment is scheduled.

Counselors have now been aligned to our College and Career Pathway Programs. Please contact your student's counselor if you have any questions.

Our After School Program is called “IMIN.” IMIN offers many fantastic opportunities for enrichment and academic support. • Our girls are currently 7-3 and still top the City League Bracket. On Tuesday our girls are way at CVLCC.

• Football

• This week, our team will travel to Nevada for an away game. Last week, we had a victory against Long Beach Poly!
  

• Boys and Girls Cross Country

• Girls Flag Football

• The team kicks off their season on Sept 3 v. Morse High School. More to come!
