Yearbook Orders Are Open!
It’s time to order and pay for your student’s yearbook via REVTRAK (not IC), if you haven't already done so. There is a button specifically for the yearbook once you sign into REVTRAK.Just click on that button, add it to your cart and make your payment. They are $20 each. Please note, this is separate from the baby picture fee for 8th graders who opted to have their baby pictures published in this year’s book.
Young Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp

BHMS Band Chipotle Fundraiser Night
Please mark your calendars to eat Chipotle the night of March 19th, and help support the band programs at BHMS! 33% of raised funds will go directly towards the band program - this will help us repair and replace quite a few of our instruments as well as help pay for professional coaches to come in and work with the students!
8th grade Field Trip to JA Financial Park - Volunteers Needed
The 8th graders are about to take our JA Finance Park field trip and need parent volunteers (you don’t have to have an 8th grader). Here is a brief description of JA Finance Park and the volunteer role. The JA Finance Park staff will provide training before students come from 8:30 am-9:30 am. If you are familiar with Young Americans Bank, the volunteer role is similar;
Working with a group of students from our school
Answering questions
Helping students through a simulation
As the flier mentions, you don’t need any financial expertise to help students. Your experience as an adult, managing money, and going through life is all the expertise you need!
Please consider volunteering; we can’t make this a rewarding day for our students if we don’t get enough volunteers the field trip won’t be able to take place!

Thank you for your support!
Updated COVID-19 Guidance
In alignment with the March 2024 updates from the CDC and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), we have updated our guidance for students and staff who test positive for COVID-19. The updated guidance aligns recommendations for a range of viral respiratory illnesses such as Flu and RSV.
If someone tests positive for COVID, Flu, RSV, or is experiencing any respiratory illness
They should stay home until symptoms are improving and for at least 24 hours after fever has resolved without the use of fever-reducing medications
When going back to normal activities, take added precautions over the next five days, such as hand and respiratory hygiene, masks, physical distancing, and/or testing when you will be around other people indoors.
Please remember, regardless of COVID status - stay home when sick
You can find more information on COVID-related illness and other common illnesses and guidelines for school attendance in CDPHE's How Sick is Too Sick and through your school's health team.
College Funding Coach
Dear Broomfield Heights Middle School,
We have been working hard to provide college resources for your family. I am excited to announce that Aspen Creek School and Broomfield Heights Middle School are hosting the College Funding Coach on Tuesday, April 9th from 6:00-7:30pm for a web workshop. This event is for any family wanting to learn how to pay for college (Preschool - High School).
The College Funding Coach was founded in 2002 to help families better understand the complex strategies for paying for college and making higher education more affordable. Mark DeBord, from The College Funding Coach, is on a mission to help Colorado families pay for their children’s education. This interactive workshop, Little-Known Secrets of Paying for College, teaches parents the rules of the game when it comes to paying for your child’s education.
This is a free educational web event. Please register by clicking HERE or on the flier attached to this email.
