Mawrtian Picks π½π
Write a "Mawrtian Picks" Shelf Talker to promote your favorite book!
An Upper School Library Helper designed these special "shelf talker" cards to help us share our favorite books with the community! If you've visited an independent bookstore, you've probably noticed similar "staff picks" cards highlighting local faves. Feel free to pick up a pen and fill out a card - leave them on the counter and we'll post them on the shelf by your favorite book!
As you browse, find the Mawrtian Picks and check out what your schoolmates recommend!

Pro Tip for Readers and Information Seekers
Get a Public Library Card
You know that Edith Hamilton Library here at BMS has plenty of resources for your reading and research needs, but do you know what you can access through our public libraries, too? Take a look at what Enoch Pratt Free Library has to offer (hint: you don't have to live in Baltimore City to use the Pratt). No matter which system serves your home community, if you haven't visited your local public library in a while, spring break might be a great time!
If you don't live in Baltimore County but you have a library card from another system, you can register it with BCPL to access their collections and resources. Like the Pratt Library, you can also sign up for a BCPL ecard. See here for more information! (You might have to be 13 for an ecard.) Access to resources from HCLS is available to all Maryland residents, including e-resources.
