Scholastic Book Fair
November 18th - 27th
Keller's Scholastic Book Fair
We are thrilled to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Keller from November 18th to 27th! During this time, students will have the opportunity to shop for books during their scheduled library periods. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!
Additionally, parents will be able to visit and shop during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
The Book Fair is a fantastic chance for students to pick out new books and for families to support our library. We look forward to seeing the excitement and enthusiasm for reading!
Collection Drive: Used Flags for Proper Disposal
The Helen Keller Student Council is proud to announce a special initiative to honor our national symbol! We are collecting used flags that need proper disposal.
Why Are We Collecting Flags?
To ensure that worn or damaged flags are disposed of respectfully, in accordance with U.S. flag etiquette.
What We Are Accepting:
U.S. flags that are worn, frayed, or damaged Flags that are no longer suitable for display.
Drop-Off Details:
LOCATION: Helen Keller Elementary School Commons DATES: Wednesday, November 6, 2024 - Friday, November 15, 2024 TIME: During school hours

Holiday Bag-A-Meal - Sponsored by Student Council
Student Council is collecting items for our annual Holiday Bag-a-Meal Food Drive. The food items will be donated to families from our Keller School Community and the Tinley Park Food Pantry. Any donations you are able to make are greatly appreciated.
Some Suggestions for items include:
Baked Ham, Stuffing, Boxed Potatoes ,Canned Vegetables, Jell-o / Pudding, Canned Fruit, Canned Pie Filling, Tea, Muffin/ Cake Mixes, Dry Pasta, Canned Pasta Sauce, Canned Tuna,
Boxed Pie Crust, Dream Whip, Dry Cereal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Crackers ,Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Rice, Oatmeal, Mac and Cheese Boxed, Brownie Mix.
Donations accepted on November 18, 19, 20, and 21st
Please do not send glass or refrigerated items. Your generosity is ALWAYS appreciated!
