Here's a template for all of your Easter-related school comms. We've pulled together activities for the classroom and for families.

The following STAAR tests will be administered on the date indicated.

April 9th, Reading 5th - 8th grade and English I, English II will be administered.

April 16th, Science 5th, Science 8th, Biology

April 17th, Social Studies 8th, US History

April 23rd, Math 5th - 8th grade and Algebra EOC

During any state testing our campus will be a closed campus. There will be no deliveries or visitors allowed on campus.

LPS students will experience a unique learning opportunity April 8, as a total solar eclipse occurs in the middle of their school day.

LPS is in the path of totality, where the moon’s shadow completely covers the sun, and students will have a chance to view it from outside, weather permitting. The school will provide certified solar viewing glasses to every student and teacher, to ensure safe viewing.

Attached is a permission form to allow your student(s) the opportunity to view this event. This must be returned by April 4th in order for students to view outdoors. Permission slips will be turned into your student's Advisory Teacher.
