9/11 Remembrance

This past Wednesday marked the 23rd anniversary of September 11th. Students across our district marked a moment of silence, and teachers and administrators provided age-appropriate information to recognize this solemn occasion.

As we remember and reflect with our students and community, we would like to share the video below, which was created and produced by current and former East Pennsboro Area High School teachers and students.

"Radium Girls"

Rehearsals began this week for the High School Fall Production "Radium Girls!" Congratulations to the students who will appear in this exciting play in November: Marley Parthemore, Mason Kasprzak, Sylvia Mizak, Gabby Wood, Chase Stocklin, Ryleigh Koretzky, Nyx Lewis, Foster Lemley, Ella Lipschutz, Abby Muthersbaugh, Layah Simmons, Sage Ragin, Aurora Farley-Freeman, Jasmine Luke, Cassidy Knoblauch, Evelyn Grimwood, J.J. Miller, and Abby Potteiger!

“Radium Girls” will be performed on November 14 and 16 at 7pm, and November 17 at 2pm, at the High School theater. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with a student ID.

Upcoming Events | East Pennsboro Area School District Box Office

Stadium Guidelines: All elementary and middle school students must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (21 or older). The adult chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the stadium, and be available by phone throughout the event. Chaperones may be asked to validate their age by showing identification.

Free and Reduced Meal Applications

We would like to remind our families that the National School Lunch program requires annual renewal for participation in the program. Every year, a new Free/Reduced Meal Application must be completed for every student. The program allows for a 30-school day carryover period for approved students from the previous school year. The rollover period for the 2024 – 2025 school year ends on October 3, 2024. Any student not on the approved list for the current school year will switch to a full pay student for breakfast and lunch beginning on October 4, 2024. There are no exceptions to this date.

If you have already received an approval letter for the 2024 - 2025 school year, no further action is needed.

A renewal on the COMPASS website or an application must be completed for your student to participate in the Free/Reduced Meal program. Applications for Free and Reduced meals can be found on the school website. Click the website link to fill out an application online (COMPASS) or click→ Parents and Guardians→ Free and Reduced Meals.
