Normandy COVID-19 Data Dashboard Now Online
Normandy has developed a data dashboard to help update the community on the numbers of COVID-19 diagnoses within schools and buildings. The dashboard will be updated weekly.

Reminder - Upcoming Early Dismissal, Late Start for Students
The next early dismissal for the EleMiddle schools and Early Learning Center will be Friday, November 13.
Early dismissal times depend on the building's start time. For details, please visit the district or school website calendar.
Monday, November 16 is the next late start day for the high school. This information is also included on the district academic calendar.
The adjusted calendar allows for teachers and staff to participate in professional development workshops and sessions.

Free Food Giveaway Every Friday
The boxes of food are available for all Normandy families and staff. Just drive up and our volunteers will load your trunk for you!
Normandy Grab & Go Program Offers Free Meals for Youth
Meals are also available Mondays and Thursdays, 7:25 to 8:25 a.m. for families living in Lucas Hunt Village, Norwood Court, and Springdale apartment complexes.
*Please Note: There will be no distribution at Bel-Nor or Normandy Early Learning Center this week due to the all-virtual schedule for these buildings. Feel free to stop at one of our other locations for meals this week.

NCCU Accepting Entries for Student, Adult Oratory Contest
North County Churches Uniting (NCCU) for Racial Harmony and Justice is once again sponsoring its Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Contest. Students and adults are invited to submit written oratories on the topic, “Intelligence plus character--that is the goal of true education." There will be prizes awarded in each category (see attached).
The deadline for entries is mailed by November 14, 2020 (by mail), or November 16, 2020 (by email). Finalists will be notified by November 30, 2020.
