Hello, Fallbrook Students & Families,
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday and our Thanksgiving break, I'd like to highlight the impact that practicing gratitude and serving others can have on our own health and development. As you likely know, all Fallbrook Union High School District graduates are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of community service. The upcoming holiday season is an excellent time to find opportunities to serve others and, in turn, make progress toward the 40 community service hours. A great resource for connecting with local service option is the College & Career Center. If you aren't sure where to start, stop by this week to check in with Ms. Cain and Mr. Cabrera! If you've already done your community service hours but aren't sure how to submit them for approval, all of the resources needed can be found on our website: https://www.fallbrookhs.org/fallbrook/community-servicez. If you need any assistance with entering your hours, our College & Career Center staff are happy to help!
Our ASB Program is also hosting "Gratitude Week November 18th-22nd, with the following events and activities (taking place during lunch, unless otherwise noted):
Monday: Blood Drive (9am-2pm)
Tuesday: Kindness Tree & Lawn Games
Wednesday: Love on a Leash Organization
Thursday: Staff "Thank You" Cards
Friday: Pala Bird Singers
