LSOA Staff & Family safety is of the utmost importance. During times of natural disasters, severe weather, or other such events, notify a staff member as soon as it is safe to do so about your situation and we will assist you with any attendance concerns.
Hello LSOA Families,
Please note that your student is still responsible for logging into classes and completing work in cases of:
- Loss of internet
- Loss of device
- Delays in device shipments
- Delays in internet installation
You can find the complete attendance requirements in the Student Handbook.
What does a student need to attend school on a back up device?
- A laptop or other device with a internet browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Open one of those internet browsers and log in here with the student account information: https://login-learn.k12.com/#login
- Your student will navigate to "my plan" or "schedule" to find their live classes
- The online classroom will open and it may as you to confirm a camera if there is one and a microphone.
- Your student may be able to complete the assigned lessons on this back-up device, some may not be able to. It depends on the device.
What options are there for offline work?
- Each grade level will have a continued engagement plan
- Students should use this plan only when directed by LSOA Staff
