March focus : Digital Footprint
Kindergarten - What type of activities are online activities?
First - What is a Digital Footprint?
Second - What information is OK to have in your Digital Footprint?
Third - How does what I post online affect my identity?
Fourth/Fifth - How does our online activity affect the digital footprints of ourselves and others?
Sixth - What are the benefits and drawbacks of presenting yourself in different way online?
Ask a LITE on LIBRARY LANE
Here's this Month's Question
What is the New Library Schedule and when can students checkout and return books to the library?
GRADES K-6 Library Lesson and Book Check out Students visit the library every week for a scheduled visit with their class for a Library Lesson and book check out. They are encouraged to check out weekly during this dedicated time.
Students can also check out Monday-Friday at Open Checkout from 2:45pm-3:00pm.
Book Return -
- Books may be returned anytime during the school day from 7:40am-3:35pm to the book bin located at the Circulation Desk. The library is not locked and they have all been instructed on how to do this.
- Classroom Book Bins are utilized by some teachers and student place them there and are returned by the designated classroom HELPER.
- Individual or groups of students from a particular classroom walk down to the library together to place their books in the Circulation Desk bin.
This has been the process and all students have been taught how to do this. It has been a more challenging year due to construction. The good news is the Library is finished as of last week.Thank goodness.
