What's Up Next?
Happy Sunday HES Family & Friends!
Thank you to our Pre-K, Kindergarten, and First Grade families that shared with us last week for our Thanksgiving Luncheon. We truly enjoyed your presence.
As we prepare for this upcoming week, we invite parents/guardians to join us for our first Academic Parent-Teacher Team Meeting (APTT) this Wednesday. This will be an opportunity for you to gain knowledge of a necessary skill for your child in their respective grade level and how you can help support your child at home. Free resources will be provided to families to use at home with your child. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. We will also pass out our 2nd Nine Week Progress Reports at the end of the meeting.
We would like to salute and thank all veterans for your service to our country. Happy Veteran's Day!!!
Friendly Reminders:
- School starts at 8:00 a.m. Your child will be marked tardy if they arrive at 8:00 a.m. and any time afterwards.
- Please arrive before 8:00 a.m. to ensure that your child has time to eat breakfast before classes begin. The Car Rider door is closed at 8:00 a.m. daily. Students must be dropped off and signed in by a parent or guardian in the front after this time.
- Any individual entering the doors of Hillcrest Elementary, must be dressed appropriately. Please refrain from wearing pajamas and revealing clothing attire.

- Our School Dismissal process begins at 2:55 p.m. each day.
- Students that are not picked up at the car rider area by 3:15 p.m. will be taken to the front office to be released. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up no later than 3:30 p.m.
- Make right turns ONLY when exiting the car rider drop-off/pick-up line.
- Please allow our staff to enter the parking lot in the mornings by keeping the car rider lane open at the entrance near the playground.

Thank you again for your support and allowing us an opportunity to serve your child! Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our school at (478) 353-8200. I look forward to another awesome week ahead with each of you!
A Review Back of Last Week
Dublin Rotary Club Donates Dictionaries
Thank you to our Dublin Rotary Club for taking time to deliver dictionaries and some important information about the importance of using this dictionary with our third grade student leaders. The students were very appreciative of the dictionaries.
