The Weekly Update
May 27th 2024
B week May 27-31
Dear GKES Families,
Read down for our upcoming May and June events, and remember that you can always stay up-to-date by checking our school website.
Please remember not to line up for student drop off before 7:45 am. The traffic backs up to the road, blocks busses from getting in, and is a safety concern. We appreciate your care and attention to this matter.
We have a few extra yearbooks left for sale $21
Parents please join us for our upcoming SIT meeting 5/29 at 4:30 in the media center before the Theater Troupe performance.
5th grade parents we are asking for a few snack donations for the EOY celebration. If you would be willing to donate any of the following items, the 5th grade team would greatly appreciate it. Please send in donations at any time.
Example Donations:
- Bottled Water/Capri Suns
-Individually packaged chips
- Individually packaged rice krispie treats
- Fruit snacks
As we near the end of another incredible school year, PTO wants to ensure classrooms are fully stocked and ready for success when we return! We are organizing a school supply drive to gather essential classroom items for our wonderful GKES teachers. To streamline the process, we asked teachers for their specific needs and created a SignUp Genius at the link below.
