Make your Mark
Parent/Student Newsletter January 15, 2025
Hitting the mark....
We have a had a great start to the semester. Your child has really come back ready to work and behavior has been wonderful too! The weather has kept us inside many days, but the students have held strong even though we know they have some wiggles to get out. We are thankful for the warmer temps this week. We still have a large number of jackets and items in the lost and found. We will do a purge of those items soon, so please make sure you or your child check our double rack!
Our spring calendar is very full and we are trying to keep it updated below!

Attendance/Early Outs
Please remember that daily attendance is a critical piece of academic success. All students should arrive on campus between 7:35 and 7:55. Students have no more than 3 days to bring a note back in the event of an absence for it to be counted as excused. Parents are limited to writing 3 notes per semester. Any consecutive absences of more than 3 days requires a doctor's note. Excessive absences can result in Saturday School assignment and/or court fines for truancy. Every 3 tardy or leaving early will result in an unexcused absence.
Students may not be picked up from school between 2:30 and dismissal on Monday - Thursday or after 1:30 on Friday. This begins a very active and moving campus, so we do not do pick-ups. Please arrive prior to then or wait until after school.
Counselor Corner
The winter blues are a real thing. We typically see less sunshine and spend more time inside being less active. As the spring semester picks up, remember to take a moment of self-care.
