Wellbeing Center

Our Wellbeing Center is currently accepting student applications to our Peer Health Advocate Program. We want to share the flyer on both newsletters so teachers can spread the word to their students & school community (parents + students) can view it too!

The Wellbeing Center's Peer Health Advocate Program now officially open! The PHA program allows students to learn more about a variety of important public health issues that impact their communities. They will receive leadership-based trainings on topics like leading presentations, local governance, advocacy, conflict resolution, and more. These tools and knowledge can be applied to various career fields or passions that students may have in their academic or personal endeavors. This is a unique opportunity provided by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and we highly encourage all students to apply!

Telesis Alumni: Miriam Kim College Bound Scholarship

Telesis PTO will provide 2 scholarships to Telesis Alumni graduating in 2025, who plan to continue their education after high school.

● 1 - $500 scholarship towards junior college, trade school, or military

● 1 - $1000 scholarship towards 4-year college/university

La Puente Kiwanis Scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of La Puente will award (10) $250 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a college, university, or trade school in the 2025-2026 academic year. They will award students from: La Puente High School, Workman High School, Bassett High School, Valley Alternative School, and any graduating high school senior who is a La Puente resident but may not be attending one of the high schools listed above.
