We’ve received thousands of emails and Let’s Talk questions, and it really helps LISD understand what is on the minds of our families. We answer these questions in our constantly-updated Launch to Learning webpage. These additions will be highlighted green for a few days and then moved into queue under the appropriate subcategory:

What will the 2020-2021 school year look like? We will have a better idea in July, and it likely won't look like school has ever looked before. Join us on August 1, 2020 for our first virtual, 100% online Edcamp and let's talk about it!

Unlike a traditional Edcamp, where session boards are built the morning of the event, sessions are suggested in advance and the board will be built the week before. Instead of one person standing in front of the room talking for an hour, people are encouraged to have discussions and interactive sessions.

A brand new school year is fast approaching and LEEF would like to supplement your classroom learning! Submit a grant application by August 30th for up to $500 at leeftx.org/innovative-grant. Grant award recipients will be notified on October 7th. Please email info@leeftx.org with any questions.

The LEEF Emergency Fund is here to help as long as we can! If you have a family who needs assistance, have them reach out to your school counselor for a referral form.
