We are a few short days from Spring Break. This is a great time to speak with your child about their progress in school. We have tutoring every Wednesday at 8:20 a.m. Let’s get our students to come in for extra help and finish strong.

I hope to see you at our STEM Night event on Thursday, March 28th.

Career Day was an incredible success, thanks to the unwavering support of our dedicated counselors, enthusiastic students, and inspiring professionals. Together, we embarked on a journey of exploration, discovery, and empowerment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, expertise, and passion to make this event successful. Thank you for being the guiding light on our path to success.

Milestones testing dates for the end of the year have been announced. Please ensure that your child is here and ready to test on the dates below. For more information about Georgia Milestones or any other test administered in GCPS, please refer to the Accountability and Assessment webpage.

• Do you have access to the Parent Portal?
• Do you have a My Payments Plus account?
• Have you applied for Free and/or Reduced Lunch, if applicable?
• Do you know when and where your child can go to get additional instructional support?
• Do you know where you can check out materials/resources to use at home with your student?
• Do you know how to become a volunteer in our school?

If you answered no to any of these questions, please make an Appointment with Pilar Silva, our Parent Instructional Coordinator, in the BMS Parent Center.

The Department of Federal Programs' Office of Family Engagement invites all families to join the “Spring Family-School Partnership Advisory Council (PAC)” meeting on March 28, 2024, from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.

We are excited to again meet in person with families in the Grayson Room at the Instructional Support Center (ISC). GCPS families will receive information about Multilingual Learners, Early Learning and School Readiness, the Homeless Education Program, Migratory Students, and the Foster Care Program, and have the opportunity to provide input on how these funds are utilized to support students, staff, and schools.

The Parent Portal gives families a direct line to the classroom, with 24/7 real-time information and anytime, anywhere access, with in-portal translation in multiple languages.
