Speed Mentoring for LHS Seniors
LHS has a meaningful opportunity for the members of the class of 2025 on Tuesday, February 25. Through a partnership with The Clermont County Chamber of Commerce, LHS seniors will be participating in a Speed Mentoring Program at the Oasis Conference Center (902 Loveland-Miamiville Rd.) that morning. Students will meet with some of the best area professionals to learn strategies for success with interviewing, resume development and networking.
This flyer will offer specific insights into making the most of this opportunity. Please read this information carefully. Gift cards will be awarded to students whom the panelists feel ask the most insightful or creative questions. Plan ahead now!
This is a required event for all seniors, unless taking an off-site synchronous CCP course or involved in a non-flexible internship experience. Please plan on arriving between 7:30am and 7:45am. Attendance will be taken. The activities for the day will conclude at 10:45am and you will have the rest of the day to use for homework.
We trust that this will be a meaningful and beneficial experience for all students. Please don't hesitate to contact your counselor with any questions. We are happy to help!
Inspire to Hire Career Fair
LHS is excited to participate in Junior Achievement's Inspire to Hire Career Fair on Wednesday, March 12 from 12:00-1:15 PM. We will be assigned a time to participate in the coming days. This event will take place at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Students will interact with professionals within some of the most in-demand career fields in the Greater Cincinnati area. Students who are seeking employment after graduation (full or part time) are encouraged to attend.
Students should fill out this form if interested in participating. Students will receive a pass and will be excused from class to attend this event, but they will need to be sure to speak with your teachers about any work that is missed. Bus transportation is provided. The deadline to register is Tuesday, February 18 by 8:00am. Feel free to contact Mr. Mitchell with any questions at mitchedr@lovelandschools.org
