Thanks for spreading the JOY, 5th graders! βοΈ
Holbrook Road 5th graders worked hard on their Citizenship Projects! As part of the Character Education Program, the 5th graders voted to spread holiday cheer to residents of a local nursing home.
Under the guidance of Mrs. Fitzgerald (Character Education Teacher), Mrs. Antonelli (Library TA), and Mrs. Angeletti (Art Teacher), students created holiday cards filled with cheerful messages and crafted beautiful snowmen to accompany the cards. These thoughtful gifts were delivered to the residents at Jeffersonβs Ferry in Port Jefferson.
The 5th graders created 100 cards and snowmen, bringing smiles to 100 faces at the nursing facility. What a wonderful way to give back and spread kindness!
