Marathon Fundraiser Starts Today!
School News
Dear Saint Ambrose Parents,
Thank you to all who attended our Parent Information Night last night. I am blessed to be part of this strong community! As we reflect on our virtue of hospitality, let's pray for inspiration to welcome and receive others centered in the example of Christ. If you were not able to make it to parent night, please check out student backpacks for any information. Our school Marathon fundraiser is happening now! Here is information you need regarding the fundraiser, the event and the prizes.
If you plan to join us for the event, we will start at 2:00. If you are not able to attend, your child will remain with their teacher and classmates. Use this form to RSVP by Monday September 23 for planning purposes.
As we prepare for the upcoming Marathon event, we are seeking donations of water and popcorn to help keep our participants energized and hydrated. If you are able to contribute, please sign up using the link: Sign Up Here. Thank you so much for your continued generosity and support. We couldn’t do it without you!
No Bussing Monday, September 30th - The district does not have school on September 30th and we will have no bussing that day. We will follow the same procedure as we did the first days of school.
Saint Ambrose Fall Fest is coming soon!
New this year is a Fun Run:
Join SAVE – Suicide Awareness Voices of Education for Saint Ambrose Catholic Community’s inaugural 5K and fun run in Woodbury, Minnesota. This event is not just about miles covered. It’s about coming together as a community to raise awareness and combat the tragedy of suicide. Enjoy a beautiful run through the neighborhood and stick around for FallFest’s live music, food, beer garden and carnival. Click here for more information!
Artsonia
Artsonia is the world's largest collection of student art, published by teachers and students from around the world. Parents and family can view the art online, maintain a digital art gallery, leave comments, and order keepsakes featuring their children's artwork. 20% of all purchases are donated back to the art program at Saint Ambrose. If your child is new to Saint Ambrose (all kindergarteners and new students), please sign up for Artsonia. Go to https://www.artsonia.com/connect/TWKCXF27 And use the PARENT CODE TWKCXF27 to connect to Saint Ambrose.

LAST CALL FOR OLD UNIFORMS: If you have any red or white shirts without the logo that you would like to donate, we will be making our final donation through Donald's on September 27th.
MAP testing starts next week for grades 3-8.
Holy Mother and Teacher of the Child Jesus,
I come before you today, grateful for the countless blessings your merits have obtained for me. Humbly, I ask you to guide and protect all Saint Ambrose students and educators throughout the academic year.
May they remain attentive and steadfast in their work, ever mindful of the gifts of the Spirit at work in them for the good of the world. May the divine providence be pleased to pour out upon them a generous share of the wisdom, understanding, counsel, and knowledge needed to lead them ever closer to your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mary, Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.
Have a great weekend!

Students Living the Virtues
This year our virtue of focus is hospitality.
We begin each day with the Saint Ambrose School Prayer focusing on hospitality. Each month a different grade level will be helping our school focus on virtues and the Saint Ambrose Way. We will recognize students that exhibit positive practices of the virtues and Saint Ambrose Way. If they are sent to the office with a positive virtue card we will be displaying them on a hallway bulletin board and gift the student a special prayer card from a saint whom we are celebrating. Ask your child if they have earned a special prayer card!
We are Looking for Help With a Few Things...

Volunteer helpers to walk students.
We have several students that receive speech services through the district. These services take place virtually at our school. We have found that when we have consistent help walking students from classrooms to the speech station, everything runs very smoothly. This is a volunteer position and it could be one day or multiple days. For more details contact Beth Salmon at bsalmon@saintambroseschool.org. or 651-768-3087.

Mission and Philosophy
Mission (what we offer)
We at Saint Ambrose School are part of a vibrant Catholic community supporting and nurturing
each child on their journey with Christ.
Through exceptional academics, embracing each child’s unique strengths and needs, and
joyfully engaging in prayer and service, we take a holistic, virtue-based approach to student
education and experiences. This is the Saint Ambrose Way.
Vision (what we aspire to)
As a thriving Catholic school, we create meaningful impact though each family we support and
student we send into the world.
By helping form the whole child, students are not only prepared well for the next level of
education, but life as Christian adults living the Saint Ambrose Way.
PHILOSOPHY
The Saint Ambrose community recognizes the partnership between parents, students, staff,
administration and parishioners in providing for the development of its members as people of
faith who worship, learn and grow together. As a community we have a responsibility to
support families- as the primary educators of their children- while providing enriching
experiences that promote a sense of belonging and responsibility to a community.
