Over the past month, we have seen an uptick in students using cell phones when they are not permitted. This trend is concerning as it can be disruptive to the learning environment and may hinder students' ability to focus and engage in class. It is important for to address this issue proactively by reinforcing cell phone policies and reminding students of the importance of staying focused during class time and the reinforcement at home is greatly appreciated.
Parents please ensure that your students are charging their Chromebooks on a nightly basis. Along with the day to day activities in class, students will be taking a series of assessments, (state and district) that require them to use their Chromebook. Without a charged device, students may not be able to access the necessary materials or complete the assessments in a timely manner. Additionally, having a fully charged Chromebook ensures that students can participate in any online activities or assignments that may be assigned throughout the day. By reminding students to charge their Chromebooks nightly, we can help them stay prepared and ready for any academic challenges that come their way.
