School Board Meeting Summary

On January 13, 2025, the Fredericksburg City School Board held a Regular School Board Meeting at 210 Ferdinand Street, Fredericksburg, VA. Closed Session began at 6:30 PM. Open Session began at 7:30 PM.

The agenda was amended to move the Out-of-District Tuition Rates for the 2025-2026 School Year to Action Items and the Independent Audit and Activity Funds for the year end June 30, 2024, presentation be postponed until next month.

• The board elected Matt Rowe as Chairman.
• The board elected Katie Pomeroy as Vice-Chairman.
• The board appointed Angie Roenke as the Clerk of the Board.
• The board appointed Brina Settles as the Deputy Clerk of the Board.
• The board approved Matt Eberhardt as the designee to attend school board meetings in the absence of the Superintendent.
