2025-26 Course Registration Information
Course selection for 2025-2026 school year is February 11th: Infinite campus portal (Academic Planner) will be open for students to input their course selections. Instructors to enter course requests in the Academic Planner HERE
February 11th: Course Requests finalized in Infinite Campus
Students will finalize there course selections during Advisory Class
Students will be asked to turn in their Map It Out sheet with a parent signature during Advisory Class.
The Infinite Campus Academic Planner will close at 3:30 PM. No entries or adjustments will be accepted after this date.
Freshmen

Make sure you are meeting all of your subject requirements BEFORE you sign up to minimize schedule changes in the summer/fall.
Incoming 12th grade students should be scheduled for 6.5+ credits, including:

1 Credit Math (recommend for college preparation)
1 Credit Science (recommended for college preparation)
1 Credit Social Studies (recommended for college preparation)

Important Notes for Seniors-
The minimum number of credits required to maintain full-time student status in senior year is 6.5 credits
School counselors strongly encourage students to maintain a rigorous academic schedule through there senior year to best prepare for post-graduation opportunities, including college and career readiness.

Early College Credit Program
Early College Credit Program (ECCP) allows a students in grades 9-12 to enroll in a UW System institution or a participating private/nonprofit institution of higher education (IHE), to take one or more courses up to 18 credits, for which students may earn high school credit and post-secondary credit. Students must meet certain criteria. For information about ECCP in the UW System, please click here. For information about ECCP in the WAICU (Private Colleges & Universities), please click here. The deadline for submitting completed ECCP applications for Fall Semester 2025 is March 1, 2025. Completed applications can be turned in to your School Counselor.
Start College Now
Start College Now allows a student in grades 11-12 to apply to enroll in a Wisconsin Technical College, to take one or more courses up to 18 credits, for which the student may earn high school credit and post-secondary credit. Students must meet certain criteria. For information on Start College Now, please click here. For information about Start College Now and Waukesha County Technical College Please click here. The deadline for submitting completed Start College Now applications for Fall Semester 2025 is March 1, 2025. Completed applications can be turned in to your School Counselor. Students cannot be enrolled in both ECCP and Start College Now at the same time.
Spirit Flag
MHS tradition is a spirit flag with participation in spirit through the advertised spirit week separated by grade class. The way you can receive the honor of the spirit flag win is dressing up for the suggested spirit day calendar or any other participation you can participate in that can be eligible for winning.
Chromebook Borrows
Chromebook and charger loans will reset at the end of the semester. Please carefully review the TPP Guidelines to understand the policies regarding borrowing devices and chargers. Students must bring their charged Chromebooks to class every day.
Grades 9-12 TPP
Chromebook chargers: Students can borrow Chromebook chargers from the library as needed. Chargers are loaned for one school day and must be returned to the library by 2:45 p.m. on the same day.
Failure to return the charger on time will result in:
A $45 fine (until the charger is returned).
Loss of borrowing privileges for the remainder of the semester.
Borrow 1 & 2: Reminder of TPP expectations from library staff. The student receives a loaner Chromebook. It must be returned by the end of the day, or it counts as another borrow. (Chromebook chargers are also available to check out from the Library.)
Borrow 3: Warning that this is the final borrow for the semester. The student receives a loaner Chromebook. It must be returned by the end of the day. An email will be sent home to the parents.
Subsequent Borrows: No additional borrows will be given. The student will receive a printed copy of classroom work, or the student can use a desktop computer in the library. If the student needs a Chromebook for a locked quiz, they must use a Chromebook in the Library.
Borrow count will reset at semester.
Football Filming
Hey MHS! The football season is coming up soon, and we need your help. The Football Team relies on film for coaching, to prepare for tough opponents, and more! The filmers will record all practices and games from High Pods to Video Drones. This position is open to anyone who may want to participate in Football without playing. The filmers' pay per hour will be 15$ when recording our practices and games while being a great help to the team.
