🐺 PENNWOOD PULSE 🐺
Volume 1, Issue 28- April 21, 2025
Message from the Principal
Dear Pennwood Community,
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and partnership. Over the next three weeks, our students in grades 3–8 will be participating in state testing, followed by Keystone testing for our older students in the two weeks after that. These assessments are an important opportunity for our students to show what they’ve learned and how much they’ve grown this year.
We’re looking forward to seeing our students in person for testing and welcoming families who are helping support this process. Your encouragement and involvement make a big difference!
As we move toward the end of the school year, let’s keep the momentum going. Whether it’s staying on top of assignments, asking questions in class, or reaching out for extra support, now is the time to finish strong. If your child needs anything—academic help, tech support, or just someone to talk to—please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team. We’re here to help every step of the way.
Thank you for being such a vital part of the Pennwood community!
With gratitude,
Mr. Micco

School Counseling Small Groups
Dear Families,
We hope this message finds you well! As part of our ongoing commitment to support the well-being of our students, the School Counseling Department is conducting a needs assessment to identify our students' specific interests and needs for small group sessions.
These small groups are optional and designed to provide a safe space for students to explore various topics, such as support for anxiety, grief, and developing coping skills. Your insights are invaluable to us, and we invite you to complete a brief needs assessment to help us better understand how we can best support your child.
The survey will take only a few minutes to complete and can be accessed here: Small Group Interest Form. Your responses will remain confidential and used solely to enhance our counseling services. If you have any questions, please contact our School Social Worker, Miss Morgese, at gmorgese@pennwood.connectionsacademy.org or 717-292-8694.
Thank you for your support and partnership in fostering a nurturing environment for our students!
Warm regards,
Miss Morgese
