Palm Beach Gardens High School
April 29, 2024
Goal Oriented. That's what the "G" in Gators stands for. It's the prefect time of year to end strong with renewed focus on goals. With the end in sight, it's time to ask the question, "What more do I need to do to meet my goals?" It's time to reflect on the journey and think about how we can move forward with determination and focus. These are the qualities of greater Gators.
Global Business & Entrepreneurship Magnet Student Intern
We had the pleasure of welcoming a talented student from Palm Beach Gardens Community High School to shadow our Marketing Coordinator for a day and experience the world of Junior Achievement firsthand. As part of our "JA Intern for a Day," this student got an inside look at the exciting realm of marketing, learning valuable skills and insights along the way. It's moments like these that remind us of the power of mentorship and hands-on experience in shaping tomorrow's leaders. Thank you to Palm Beach Gardens Community High School for partnering with us on this enriching experience, and kudos to our dedicated Marketing Coordinator for guiding and inspiring the next generation of trailblazers! FAST Reading Test this week: Thursday!
💻Bring Your Chromebook/Laptop & Charger💻
How Can I Get the Best Possible Score on the PM3?
One key part of being successful on the PM3 is knowing the structure of the test. The PM3 is based on an algorithm that determines what questions you get, in what order. In a computer-adaptive test, an algorithm controls the difficulty level of the questions. Each student faces different questions according to how well they are doing during the assessment. If the student is doing well and answering questions correctly, the difficulty of the questions increases. However, if the student struggles to answer questions correctly, the algorithm presents slightly easier questions.
Grade 9 and 10 students scheduled to test for the PM3 FAST test can utilize FAST Practice Tests and materials to ensure they are familiar with the platforms and how to use their accommodations.
