Exploring Nature
The January issue of Exploring Nature includes winter activities and resources. One of our members reported that they printed out the Animal Tracks poster (found under All About Animal Tracks) and sent it home on the day of the snowstorm.
RILINK Advisory Committee - Members Needed
As part of our review of the Strategic Plan we have updated the section about the Advisory Committee, and are seeking new members. The primary responsibility of members of the Advisory Board is to give feedback to the RILINK staff. This may be done at an (annual) meeting, in a form or survey, or by personal contact, and may be initiated by board members or by RILINK staff. It is expected that Board members will:
Be familiar with RILINK Vision and Mission Statements, resources, and services.
Participate in short and long-range planning.
Assist in assessing RILINK success in addressing its mission.
Advocate for support for RILINK to achieve its mission.
Promote RILINK’s resources and services to its members, the library and education community, and the larger community.
