CLMS Family Update
October 18, 2024
From CLMS Principal, Mr. Eric Pettit
Good Afternoon CLMS Families!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the families who joined us for parent-teacher conferences. Your participation plays a vital role in supporting student success, and we appreciate the time you took to connect with teachers. If you couldn’t attend or have any lingering questions, please know that our staff is always available via email. Open communication is essential, and we are happy to discuss your student's progress at any time throughout the school year.
Believe it or not, we are just two weeks away from the end of the first quarter! This is an important time to review grades, complete any outstanding assignments, and ensure students are staying on track with their goals. Please encourage your student to ask for help if they need it, and reach out to teachers directly if you have any questions or concerns. We are committed to helping every student finish the quarter strong!
Thank you for your continued partnership with CLMS as we work to prepare all students to college, career, and civic readiness!
As always, Go Pirates!

CLMS Classroom Highlight- Co and Extra Curricular Activities
At CLMS, we believe that co- and extra-curricular activities such as band, athletics, drama, and leadership clubs are essential to student growth and development. These programs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop important life skills like teamwork, responsibility, and time management. Participation in band fosters creativity and discipline, while athletics promotes physical health and sportsmanship. Drama encourages self-expression and collaboration, and leadership clubs empower students to take initiative and contribute positively to the school community. These activities not only enrich students’ middle school experience but also help prepare them for future academic and personal success. We encourage every student to get involved and make the most of these valuable opportunities!
