Administrative Update for Laura B. Sprague School

Dear District 103 Community,


I am writing to share that Ms. Ann Hofmeier, Principal of Laura B. Sprague School has accepted a new position as Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at the Exceptional Learners Collaborative in Vernon Hills, beginning with the 2025–2026 school year.


We are deeply grateful to Ms. Hofmeier for her dedicated leadership over the past eight years. Her unwavering commitment to student growth, academic excellence, and the well-being of the Sprague community has made a meaningful and lasting impact. Please join me in congratulating Ms. Hofmeier and wishing her continued success in this exciting new chapter.


We will begin the search for the next Principal of Laura B. Sprague School immediately. The position will be posted on our District 103 Employment Opportunities webpage, and we encourage qualified and passionate educators to apply. We are committed to finding a leader who will continue to support the success and development of our students and staff.

Board of Education Meeting

The next Board of Education meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page. D103 board meetings will be live-streamed each month on our YouTube Channel. Members of the community should attend the meeting at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire if they would like to make a public comment. The public can also contact the Board at board@d103.org.
