GOOD THINGS

MONTHLY CALENDAR
- We are now inviting parents to join their student(s) for lunch. This invitation is only applicable on Mondays and Fridays.
- Be advised, we do not allow lunch visitors on days that we are hosting school events, such as House Day, early release, etc.
- Make sure to bring your I.D. to check in at the front office before enjoying lunch with your student(s).
SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT
The safety of our students is our top priority. During morning drop off, please make sure to go through the car line if you are not parking to walk your student to the school. The parking lot is not a designated "drop and go" location. We appreciate your support in assuring our students are safe.

HEALTH SCREENINGS BEGIN TUESDAY
Walton County School District provides free health screenings to students in Kindergarten, First and Third Grade. These screenings can of consist of vision, hearing and BMI, depending on grade level. Kindergarteners get ONLY hearing and vision screenings.
First Graders get ALL three screenings.
Third Graders get ONLY vision and BMI screenings.
Health screenings will be completed on Tuesday and Wednesday. *If your student(s) wears glasses, please be sure to send the glasses with them.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call either of our nurses.

32nd Annual Flutterby Arts Festival
Head over to Watersound Town Center on Sunday, November 10th for a fun-filled day with your family!
While there, make sure to find some of our First Grader's art work!
HOMETOWN HOLIDAY PARADE
Come out to Grand Boulevard on Friday, November 22nd to kick off the Holiday spirit! Enjoy the parade before going to the celebration with caroling, hot chocolate, and more!
CLUB MEETINGS
Club meeting days/times are subject to change. Make sure you're communicating with your club leader for real time information.
DISMISSAL FROM CLUBS REMINDER
If your student(s) is/are participating in any after school clubs, please be sure to update PikMyKid to reflect the club they will be attending. If you do not see the club option, please call the school to assist you.
MORNING DROP OFF
Please remember that we do not provide child supervision until 7:05 a.m. We ask that you keep your student(s) in your car until that time. We will then open the doors for students to get breakfast or go to class at 7:05 a.m. If you are dropping your student(s) off in the mornings, keep in mind that the drop off time is fastest between 7:05 and 7:20.
We want to make sure all of our students stay safe while on campus.

There are a few classrooms that have not been adopted quite yet, please consider donating to our teachers. We appreciate your generosity and support for our teachers and students. If you haven't already, please check out our donation site and search for your student's teacher(s).

BUS INFO
Please contact the front office if you have questions or changes regarding your student's transportation. You can also check your student's bus online by visiting the link below and sign up for the Here Comes the Bus tracking app using the attached flyers below.
WALKERS
Parents residing South of Hwy 98 and West of Co Hwy 393 to 30-a have the option to walk with their child to and from school each day. A walker pass MUST be obtained in the office. Please provide a proof of residency when applying for the pass. Walker passes are not available for parents who wish to park in the parking lot and walk up to retrieve their child. Parents who wish to have their child walk or bike to school unaccompanied must get administrative approval and have a written note on file at school.
