NEW - Every Wednesday is an early release day. ALL 1st - 6th grade students will be dismissed at 1:10pm. PM Kinders will follow the AM schedule and will be dismissed at 12:10.

The 3rd Annual Great Gratitude Walk will be next Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 1:15-2:15pm. Students will walk with their class around the neighborhood displaying what they are thankful for. Upon return, each class will enjoy a small treat and some music. It will be a great way to a few moments to be reflectful before our break.

Congrats to Miss Fragoso and her students for starting a Coffee Business. Every Friday, staff can order a drink from the Happy Otter Cafe. This is made by her students and delivered to the classroom.

Sweatshirt order form will be sent home in November.

We will be ordering new House Shirts for all students. These shirts are to be worn every Friday. We hope to have these to students by January.

The Safety Committee will meet in Decemeber to debrief the Safety presentation during the teacher staff meeting. Topics include over all campus preparedness, evacuations, and intruders on campus. This is one way our school works to keep all students and staff prepared and ready to respond in the case of an emergency.

The district is conducting a survey to improve and strengthen communications efforts.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), hear about student progress, and share your valuable input to help shape our goals for the future.

Trying something NEW! Our next meeting will be held virtually. We hope that this option will make attending our meetings more accessible. We will discuss the upcoming Art Night, Winter Concert, and the Reindeer Run.

The meeting will be on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 3:00. Be on the look out for the link to log in.

ELAC Meeting will be Nov. 19 at 10:00. This meeting is open to all parents especially important to our families who speak more than one language.
